K99.1FM and JD Legends are joining the fight against breast cancer with Concerts for a Cause benefiting the Pink Ribbon Girls

Join us at JD Legends for two nights of acoustic shows where 100% of ticket sales will go to the Pink Ribbon Girls.  In light of the recent tragedy in Las Vegas,  10% of food sales and $2 of every ticket sold the day of each concert will go to assist the victim's of the tragic Las Vegas shooting.

Pink Ribbon Girls was created by women with breast cancer to support and empower others who are currently in the fight against breast and reproductive cancers. They strive to balance the fear and uncertainty that breast and women’s reproductive cancers bring to individuals and families by providing free direct services to those throughout Ohio.

Day of Caring: 40 locations team to help homeless

About 245 people attended the Day of Caring Pancake Brunch at the Epiphany Lutheran Church on Sunday, which raised awareness and an estimated $1,400 for the homeless and hungry in local communities.

The church was among more than 40 locations around the Miami Valley, Cincinnati and Richmond, Ind., areas that hosted a pancake brunch to recognize volunteers and organizations who help the hungry and homeless.
