Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and bestselling author of The Warmth of Other Suns, a nonfiction book about the Great Migration, speaks at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 13, in the Kennedy Union Ballroom on the University of Dayton campus. In 1994, she won a Pulitzer Prize for her work as Chicago bureau chief of The New York Times for pieces on the rural heartache of the Midwest floods and a profile of a 10-year-old boy on the South side of Chicago. A book signing will follow.
Free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.
