Eboo Patel, founder and executive director of the Interfaith Youth Core, will keynote the annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday celebration at 7:00 p.m., Jan. 22, in the RecPlex on the University of Dayton campus. He's written Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation. In "The Faith Divide" blog at washingtonpost.com, Patel considers the religious events and issues that bring people together or drive them apart. A book signing will follow.
Free and open to the public. No tickets required.
