BOREN FELLOWSHIPS AND SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDY

Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000 to U.S. graduate students and Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 for U.S. undergraduates to add an important international and language component to their education through specialization in area study, language study, or increased language proficiency. Boren Fellowships and Scholarships support study and research in areas of the world that are critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. (Study in Western Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand are not supported by Boren Awards.)

Graduate and undergraduate students interested in Boren Awards are welcome and encouraged to attend.
