Lesbian Dayton's One Year Anniversaryand a Thanksgiving CelebrationSaturday, November 175:30 pm Well, happy anniversary to Lesbian Dayton!!!!It has just come to my attention that the website went live the first week of November in 2011!!! Events were a little slower to come, but this is officially our anniversary month!  It has been a really, and I mean really, busy year, so busy that I lost track of the kick off date - in my world that is a darn good thing. I can think of no better way to celebrate LD's first year than all coming together to celebrate our LGBT Dayton community at the annual LGBT Community Thanksgiving Dinner. If you'd like to sit with the Lesbian Dayton tables, please RSVP with the total number in your party so we can secure enough space for us to all sit together. This is a great family friendly event, and you lucky gals will get to meet my wonderful mother.  I encourage you to bring family and friends for a joyous sharing of all the good we have available in Dayton.  Together we can continaully make it a more vibrant fun community.  In addition to sharing a meal with our community, and our new friends made through Lesbian Dayton, you will get a sneak preview (for free no less) of the The Dayton Gay Men’s Chorus holiday concert “Celebrate.” You'll also hear news of interest to the LGBT community, and if you belong to an LGBT group, you are welcome to share announcements about your group.  Please email me at clara@lesbiandayton.com if you would like to make an announcement at the dinner. The Greater Dayton LGBT Center and the Community Dinner sponsors (see the website calendar for a list of the sponsors) will provide the turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing and all the other fine food you typically associate with Thanksgiving along with tableware, drinks, etc. There is no cost to attend, just bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share. It is street parking only, and that is a good reason to plan to arrive as close to 5:30 as possible.  Carpooling is a really good idea. November 17th5:30pm St. Paul’s United Methodist Church,101 Huffman Avenue, Dayton Ohio 45403 Please come celebrate with us!Clara LD one year anniversary and Community Dinner 0.00
