Detective Christopher has not had a case in months. He fears he might have to close his agency and find a real job. As Chris douses his sorrows with eggnog, he hears a knock at the door. It was definitely the knock of a woman. In walks the mysterious Rebecca Shirley. Rebecca finds herself in trouble and in need of assistance. Chris does not believe he can trust this lovely lady any further than he can throw his glass of eggnog, but she offers him something he desperately needs and wants - cash. Rebecca states that something of great value has been stolen. She needs Chris to find it before anyone else realizes it is missing. Her life and Christmas are at stake. The job could be quite perilous, she quips. Chris can feel the danger in every fiber of his being. While his brain screams, "No," Chris can hear himself agreeing to take Rebecca's case.
