“Joy to the World, a community event – An up close look at hundreds of Nativities, representing the sacred story of the birth of Christ” The 4th annual ‘Joy to the World a community celebration’ sponsored by The Milwaukie Stake Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Admission is free of charge and open to the public. The event will run from Thursday, December 6th through Monday, December 10th. The hours are from 1-9pm on Dec. 6-8th and 4:30 - 9pm on Dec. 9th & 10th. It will be held at the Milwaukie Stake Center, 8331 Cason Road, Gladstone, OR 97207 (On the corner of Webster Road and Cason one block east of Oatfield Road) On display will be several hundred nativity scenes from around the world. There will also be activities for children, special musical presentations by local performers, holiday video presentations, and a live children's nativity performance. The children's activity room will feature crafts, dress-ups as well as story-telling. Parents should remain with their children. Feel free to bring a camera.
