Middletown Earth Day Festival is a free, family friendly event with a live broadcast from Miami University Middletown (MUM) campus, on WNKU 105.9 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.).
This year's event will focus on education, cleaning up Middletown parks, and celebrating the beautiful 111-acre natural setting we know as Miami University Middletown campus.
The festival will feature exhibits, activities and tours aimed at educating southwest Ohioans about protecting our environment. On hand will be community groups and environmental organizations to answer questions and offer fun and exciting hands-on activities for all ages.
Earth Day Community Clean-up
The Middletown Earth Day Festival offers opportunities to learn, volunteer and recycle!
-- Go into the community and pick up litter, recycle, paint, landscape, and clean up the parks.
-- Take classes at MUM where topics include recycling, invasive plants, and the Asian Long Horn Beetle.
-- Drop off your hazardous waste and prescription drugs at the hazardous waste drop off boxes.

Keep Middletown Beautiful, Inc is a Non-Profit 501-(C)3 Organization currently celebrating its 25th year as a Keep America Beautiful Affiliate. This organization was founded by the late Della Ewalt, a dedicated teacher and well respected member of the community.
