Title: Pavement Design for Roadway Use Maintenance Agreements
Abstract: As oil and gas operators have crossed into Ohio and are drilling and exploring in Eastern Ohio, Roadway Use Maintenance Agreements (RUMAs) are executed between the operators and municipalities in order to maintain the existing county and township highways. This presentation will discuss the process of securing the RUMAs and how the roadways are evaluated.
Speaker: Paul Goodhue, PE, PTOEMr. Goodhue serves as Transportation Manager for CESO and has more than 13 years of experience in transportation engineering and is very knowledgeable with the latest Ohio Department of Transportation and Federal Highway Association standards. He is a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and he has received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Dayton with emphases in Transportation Engineering. He is the President-Elect of the Dayton Section of ASCE and a member of ASHE, ITE, and SAME.
