Working together with students from the University of Zambia in Lusaka, we will conduct research on Lusaka???s groundwater system with the overall goal of improving resource management and sustainable development. We will also travel to mining areas of Zambia to explore the environmental impacts of mining, especially with respect to water resources. We will also travel to Kafue National Park for safari and to Victoria Falls to see one of our world's great wonders and to learn about Zambia's use of hydroelectricity.
