The 148th Anniversary of the Battle of Bentonville will focus on the power of the Civil War artillery. Visitors will get a chance to see how a battery of cannons operated and worked together in the heat of the 1865 battle. Visitors will be able to see artillery and infantry demonstration through the weekend as well as view camps and talk with interpreters about life in the Civil War. A Union monument will also be dedicated during the program.
