Teammates,Thank you for your support of the Ohio/Indiana UAS Center and Test Complex and our bid to be designated as an FAA UAS Test Site.  Our region and many other parts of the US are vying for a FAA UAS Test Site designation.   Winning requires that we successfully and succinctly demonstrate our region’s UAS and aerospace capabilities within the page-limited format proscribed by the FAA.   Monday’s morning meeting will provide an overview of the FAA’s Screening Information Request (SIR) requirements and explain what we need from you to help our team complete the response to the FAA.   This email includes several spreadsheets that ask for data we need for the SIR response.  If possible, we would appreciate it if someone from your organization could complete any forms that apply to your organization’s capabilities by Sunday, March 10th and send them to Jim Coyne (jcoyne@sgp-llc.com) and Richard Anderson (randerson@sgp-llc.com).  We will also have people available at Monday’s meeting to answer questions about the forms and your responses. The SIR evaluation criteria favors applicants that can demonstrate strong UAS research experience and clear research objectives and plans for advancing the integration of UAS into the NAS.  Our region is very strong in this area.  The afternoon meeting will focus on the FAA’s research goals and how research occurring in the region aligns with those goals.  We have invited organizations that we know have  strong relevant research programs to the afternoon meeting as well.  You are invited for both meetings, but please feel free to attend the most relevant meeting, understanding your busy schedules.If you want to review the FAA SIR, you can find the documents at https://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm/announcement/view/13143**Location details: Sinclair Community College Ponitz Center Room 282- In your GPS, enter the address as 301 W.
