Singer/Songwriter and guitarist Clint Black has long been heralded as one of country music’s brightest stars. His many talents have transcended genres and Clint has written, recorded and released more than 100 songs. His 1989 debut of the fan favorite and Triple Platinum “Killin’ Time” album marked a shift in the country music industry with a return to a more traditional country sound. Clint received numerous awards from CMA and ACM for this album which boasted five #1 hits including “A Better Man.” In 2003, he founded his own artist-friendly recording company, Equity Music Group (which is also launched the career of Little Big Town.) His release of the album “Spend My Time” received great acclaim and his label went on to earn Billboard’s #2 Independent Imprint of the Year and #4 Independent Label of the Year across all genres in 2006.
