A new app is expected in late November that will not only allow you to rate people, but other people to rate you.

The app Peeple will allow users to give people they know a one-to-five-star rating in the following three categories:  personal, professional and dating. Anyone can be reviewed on the site, but if the user isn't registered, only positive reviews will display.

The Peeple website promises that the app will, "...enhance your online reputation for access to better quality networks, top job opportunities, and promote more informed decision making about people."

The app is getting some negative criticism because of how some of the information can't be edited. According to the Washington Post, you will not be able to opt out once your name is put into the Peeple system. Also, you will not be able to remove bad reviews.

To review someone you must be at least 21 with a Facebook account, and all reviews will be under your name.

Despite concerns, the site promises that content and commentary will be authentic and respectful.
