HI everyone! I'm Glenn Moore. I am a Miami Valley native and grew up just down the road from Young's Jersey Dairy. I have hosted the Midday show on K99.1FM for ..well.....a lot of years:-) I first started on the air here back in 1998. Before that I was "town to town up and down the dial" as the song goes. I have lived in WV, KY, NC, NY and finally landed back in the Buckeye State to stay for good. I live in Centerville with my wife and two kids. I am a die-hard Reds and Bengals fan. Love the Flyers, Buckeyes and Bearcats too.
Where were you born?
What is your favorite TV show?
I love to watch the nature and animal shows and of course the Reds and Bengals.
What was the first thing you ever wanted to be?
A baseball player for the Reds.
How might someone have described you in high school?
Really skinny with a big deep voice once I "grew." lol
What was your first job?
Paperboy! I delivered the Springfield Daily News as a teenager.
What was your first job in radio?
I did overnights on a radio station in Charleston, WV.
What do you like about your job?
I don't have to dig ditches;-) Radio can be a fun way to make a living!
What might people be surprised to know about you?
I survived the Xenia Tornado of 1974. And, I was third in my graduating class......of 3!
What would be a perfect day for you?
On a beach that I didn't have to leave, while sitting under an umbrella and sipping a Mountain Dew and eating a Milky Way candy bar:-)
What advice would you have for someone wanting to go into the business?
Educate yourself on the current trends on the business and the employment opportunities before you take the leap. Decide if it really is for you. Practice doing "fake" radio shows and ask a Professional to give their feedback. When you do get your first job, don't stay there too long if you don't get promoted. Take chances and learn everything you can about the business and always look to improve yours skills. Decide if you want to move around a lot because most people in radio do that.Favorites
Favorite book: Don't really have one right now but I read a lot of Voice Over books.

Favorite hobby: watching or playing sports...I do more watching these days:-) Hanging out with the family.
Favorite Miami Valley place: John Bryan State Park, Cox Arboretum, and any of the bike trails around the Miami Valley.
Favorite movies: Titanic, Dances with Wolves, Wizard of Oz, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:-)
Favorite music: Country, 70's and Wiggles songs. I get yelled at by the kids for singing these now. They are older and that is just totally not cool of Dad to keep singing Wiggles songs when they are long past the pre-school years. HA!
