Lance Armstrong Lance Armstrong (born Lance Gunderson, 9/18/71) is a former pro road racing cyclist. He won the Tour de France a record 7 times between 1999 & 2005, but in 2012 he was disqualified from all results for allegedly using performance-enhancing drugs.
Lance Armstrong holds the winner’s trophy in July 2005 after claiming his seventh straight Tour de France cycling race.
