So, where to begin? I have been in Dayton for over 30 years. However, I was not born here. In fact, I was not even born in this country. I was born in a very small town....in Canada! My birthplace is Regina, Saskatchewan. My father played professional football for the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL. (he also played for the buckeyes from '69-'71) We moved to Dayton in 1980 when my father accepted a job for Worthington steel. So how did get I into radio? I fell in love with radio at Centerville high school. I was the voice of Centerville football my senior year and had a blast! I later attended the International College of Broadcasting. My first job was as a producer for a sports-talk show.
Let me skip ahead a little, I was the morning show co-host at Z-93 from 2002 to 2007. I was recently hired here at K99.1FM in june and have never been happier! The company and the people I work with, are the finest I've ever been around. I have a couple huge passions in my life. My family, radio and....OHIO STATE BUCKEYES FOOTBALL!!!!! (YAY!!!) I also watch the Browns, Indians and the Cubs. (my cousin Tony, plays for the cubbies). Well, that's my story, so far, and I can't wait for the next chapter to unfold.....by the way, if you happen to see me at Elsa's in Centerville, please come over an say "hi".
