Jim Witmer discovered photography and the darkroom while in high school, worked for the school newspaper, and the year book. He even took on a few jobs shooting weddings as a teenager.
After he graduated, he started a job at his local paper, the Wooster Daily Record, shooting and writing high school sports. He graduated from Ohio University. Witmer enjoys family, fine art photography, cooking, sports, home brewing, and travel.
