Southern Voice, Tim McGraw's first studio album in two and a half years, is getting the finishing touches and will be released October 20th on Curb Records. Tim's website timmcgraw.com has an early look at the album cover, track listing and other insider info on the recording sessions. Tim's also going to help kick off the new football season on NFL Opening Kickoff 2009 Presented by EA Sports simulcast on NBC and NFL Network on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 8 -8:30 p.m. The show honors the six-time Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers and the city of Pittsburgh. The live pregame broadcast, which leads into the season opener between the Steelers and the Tennessee Titans at Heinz Field, will also be available via NFL Mobile Live only from Sprint.

"Southern Voice", recorded in Nashville with his longtime producer, Byron Gallimore (Faith Hill, Sugarland, Phil Vassar), the lead single from the album is "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You" and is running up the country charts. Written by Nickelback'sChad Kroeger and singer-songwriter Brett James (who has penned numerous hits, including "Jesus, Take the Wheel" for Carrie Underwood), "It's A Business Doing Pleasure With You" is an up-tempo, tongue-in-cheek tale about the price of love and was #1 Most Added in its first and second weeks at radio and is already 15 on the Billboard Country Singles chart. Southern Voice is the follow-up to Let It Go, which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in April of 2007.
