With one word, Garth Brooks can get hundreds of people to raise their hands at the same time last night at the Lincoln Memorial.   He even got the Obama family to put up their hands during "Shout."   Garth came out on the steps of the memorial, sporting a cowboy hat and his guitar.  He started off with his rendition of "American Pie," then transitioned into "Shout." He put down the guitar for his last song, "We Shall Be Free," and worked the crowd. At one point, Brooks walked over to the area where the Obamas and Bidens were sitting, took off his hat and gave them a nod. Then he smiled and waved to Sasha and Malia Obama. The entire time he was backed by a huge choir, dressed in red and blue shirts.

Speaking of the Inauguration, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw will be attending the inauguration in style -- dropping more than $10k a night just for their digs.  Those who know say the McGraws will be staying in the Presidential Suite at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Georgetown. We're told they'll be paying between $13,000 and $15,000 a night.  Initially, the hotel was trying to sell a package that included the suite, Gucci luggage, tickets to Barack Obama's parade and ball and 4 additional nights at the Ritz in the Grand Cayman to chill. The cost for all that was $99,000, but it didn't sell. So the hotel spun off the suite as a stand alone for Tim and Faith.
