Jimmy Wayne was recently trapped on his own tour bus (watch the video below). Within the past year, he's also escaped a flood and been handcuffed at the airport in his underwear. But the singer has his fans to thank for avoiding what most live performers count among the worst of their fears -- forgetting the words to a familiar song.
"I actually forgot some words singing the national anthem, when it got to the part, 'And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting ...?'" Jimmy admits to GAC. "It got to that part and it was like, 'C'mon everybody!' And everybody started singing, 'And the rockets red glare,' and I said, 'C'mon. And the bombs..' And they reminded me what line I was supposed to be singing. It went smooth. They thought it was the way it was supposed to be!"
Now all he has to worry about is perennial pranksterBrad Paisley. Jimmy, along with Dierks Bentley, will hit the road on Brad's American Saturday Night Tour, which makes a stop in Cincinnati on June 19th.
