Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton Lose a Furry Friend By Nancy Wilson
Some folks like me who don't have human children, consider our pets our furry kids. My beloved Cody will be gone seven years this week and I still miss him so desperately. My heart goes out to Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton whose baby "Steve" was killed in an accident over the weekend. Miranda wrote on her Twitter page "please send prayers to our family. We lost our puppy Steve yesterday (Saturday) in an accident. He is happy in heaven now." Her fiance Blake , who is normally a cutup on Twitter, was very somber, "Worst day for me in a longtime. Rest in peace Steve ..." The Boot says Blake rescued Steve from a shelter. Read more about it here .
