Gwyneth Goes Country Strong (and it's Good!) By Nancy Wilson
Remember when we told you a while ago actress Gwyneth Paltrow was starring in an upcoming movie? "Country Strong ," out December 22nd, is about a washed up country singer (Gwynnie) whose career is resurrected after meeting an up and comer in rehab.
Tim McGraw plays her husband. Gwyneth is one of my favorite actresses and I knew she dabbled in singing, having a moderate hit with Huey Lewis called "Cruisin" a few years ago, but I would never have guessed how good she is at country! The single, "Country Strong" was released yesterday and is, amazing Vince Gill on backup vocals. The soundtrack is out in October. Our friends at the Boot have a snippet of it of the song "Country Strong." You can only listen to it here . Here's the video of that "Cruisin" song Gwyneth did with Huey a few years ago!
