CMT Awards: Kid Cracks Jokes, Carrie Big Winner

As predicted, the CMT Awards Show was a great time in Nashville and Kid Rock did an admirable job as host.
After fortifying himself with a few backstage shots and a little nip of something something here and there, Kid was cracking jokes and performing with the likes of Hank Williams Jr! Carrie Underwood was the big winner, taking home two CMT belt buckles. Some highlights for me, Kid telling an audience member, to "calm down" that he "got the memo" about not smoking cigars on stage, and hollering out to Food Network TV chef Paula Deen to "sit down, we'll get you a drink in a minute!" Speaking of Paula, when she came upon Jersey Shore stars Snooki and "the Situation," he of course, flashed his famous abs as Paula cackled, "I could grate cheese on that!" My fave moment had to be the meeting up of Reba McEntire with her "doppelganger" Kenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live. Check it out from tvsquad.com!
