Taylor Swift Hits the Road for New CD Release

By Nancy Wilson

It's all Taylor Swift all the time this week.  Not only is the country beauty's third album "Speak Now" out today, she was spotted early this morning at Times Square Starbucks buying it!  Taylor was also featured on the cover of yesterday's Parade, is on this week's People Magazine and is making all sorts of appearances in support of her new CD, which, no surprise, is very very very autobiographical.  If you're in Taylor's life, you're on her album.

Although Taylor may kiss and write, she doesn't kiss and tell, but the rumors are strong (and she hasn't denied) that there are songs on her new album about Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner and Kanye West.   The 20 year tells Parade, "Things change so quickly. I have no idea who's going to be a recurring character and who's just a guest star for one episode." Read more here.   Tay Tay's gonna be out in full force to support the album's release:

Today, a group of winners of contests held around the world will join Taylor for a private performance at the United Nations in New York City. The event will be streamed on many of MTV Networks' web properties, including CMT.com, MTV.com, VH1.com and websites across Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America.

Tomorrow morning, she'll be on the Today Show as part of their fall concert series.  Then, tomorrow night, she's guesting and performing on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Wednesday morning, Taylor stops by Live with Regis and Kelly to perform and dish.  That afternoon, she will visit Scholastic's New York headquarters, where she will take time out from her busy release week schedule for a special literacy event, "Read Now! with Taylor Swift," as part of the company's 90th Anniversary Literacy campaign.  After THAT, she will visit Madame Tussaud's New York for the unveiling of her original wax figure.

Thursday, Taylor will be on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, who will be celebrating the release of Speak Now by making the entire show Taylor's official album release party. The show is taped and will be played on Monday, November 1st.

Then, next Tuesday, November 2nd, Taylor's been booked to perform on Dancing with the Stars' 200th episode.
