My main man Dierks Bentley is gonna be a New Yorker next month as he's lined up four different gigs in four different places!  His first hit October 18 at the Bowery Ballroom will concentrate on his country hits.  The next night, he's joining up with the Del McCoury Band at City Winery to perform bluegrass inspired music from his CMA nominated album Up on the Ridge.  October 20th, Dierks continues his musical tour of NYC at Joe's Pub with an intimate set for the the CMA Songwriters series with Jessi Alexander, Jim Beavers and Up on the Ridge producer Jon Randall Stewart.  On his final night, October 21st, Dierks will perform an acoustic set at South Paw with the Punch Brothers.  There's a limited amount of tickets available at Dierks' website on Friday, "This entire year has been about following my heart, musically," he says on CMT.com. "Getting the opportunity to be in New York in the fall, playing with my heroes and my friends is really exciting."  Read more here.
