As the American Idol tour winds down, it's back to school for Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery.  The 17 year old high school senior from North Carolina is busy juggling touring, schooling and preparing for the release of his first album, "Clear as Day" out October 4th.   Scotty tells the Boston Globe one of the songs on the disc was submitted by Keith Urban.   "It's one he did way back when he was part of the band called the Ranch. He's on tour right now so we don't know, but he said he might play guitar on the track."   Read the whole story here.  Scotty says the new album will stay true to his country roots, the single "I Love You This Big" is in the top 20.   While he gives credit to Idol for giving him his start, he knows the rest is up to him, "When I went to Nashville for CMA Fest, that was one of the things I was worried about, meeting those guys and knowing that I'm just 17 and I didn't grow up playing honky-tonks for 15 years and paying my dues," he notes. "That's something that I know I have to do now. I have to go out there and work hard and try to stick around. It's not going to be handed to me.
