Glen Campbell, the Rhinestone Cowboy himself, has some sad news to share. He tells People Magazine he has Alzheimer's disease. The 75 year old and his wife Kim told the magazine, "Glen is still an awesome guitar player and singer....But if he flubs a lyric or gets confused on stage, I wouldn’t want people to think, 'What's the matter with him? Is he drunk?' " The Los Angeles Times says he plans on releasing one more album before he retires to be followed by a farewell tour in October. The announcement comes just weeks after some bad reviews for a performance in Carmel, Indiana. The Indianapolis Star said Glen 'came across as unprepared at best and disoriented at worst'. Glen has been married to Kim, wife #4, for nearly 30 years. He has five sons and three daughters from his various marriages. "I still love making music," says Campbell.
