Finally, it's down to the final 10 contestants on American Idol! Well, 13 when you count the judges "wild card" picks. But the first guy to make the cut last night was country cutie Scotty McCreery! Woot Woot! "Garner, North Carolina's hometown hero" as host Ryan Seacrest calls him, judge Jennifer Lopez told Scotty Tuesday night, “you have what it takes, you have the goods.” After blowing us away with his takes on Josh Turner and Travis Tritt during auditions, he knocked it out of the park with John Michael Montgomery's "Letters from Home." Voters agreed and he made the top 10. J-Lo told the 16-year old he was born to sing country music. Keep it up Scotty! Way to represent! Here's the others who made it: Casey Abrams, Lauren Alaina (she did Reba's "Turn on the Radio" the other night), James Durbin, Jacob Lusk, Paul McDonald (like him!), Thia Megia, Haley Reinhart, Karen Rodriguez and Pia Toscano.
