After ten years, Osama bin Laden, the mastermind of the worst terrorist attacks on American soil, is dead, gunned down by Navy Seals yesterday in his Pakistan mansion.   Just after 11 last night, President Barack Obama confirmed the details to the nation.  He described the US Special Forces mission as a successful, targeted operation that ended in bin Laden's death.   As the news spread, country stars reacted with a flood of messages on Twitter.   Reba McEntire:  So proud of our President and our military!  Dierks Bentley: God Bless our troops and their families… thank you for the sacrifices you all make for our freedoms and our Country. what a great moment.   Brad Paisley: If you see someone in a military uniform tomorrow, for heaven’s sake give them a hug.
