Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina sang their little country hearts out on "American Idol" last night.  Who will be the winner of Season 10?  Since both Scotty and Lauren have futures in country music, it was only appropriate two of country's biggest stars picked one of the final songs they performed last night.   Carrie Underwood, the winner of season four on Idol, chose Pam Tillis' "Maybe It Was Memphis" for Lauren to sing and George Strait, tapped "Check Yes or No" for Scotty.   Lauren's choice was "Flat on the Floor" by Nickelback and Carrie.  Scotty's was "Gone" by Montgomery Gentry.  For the final round, Scotty performed "I Love You This Big" and Lauren sang, "Like My Mother Does" ---whoever wins, that will be their first single.    This season of Idol has been country to the core with appearances by Jason Aldean,Sugarland and Lady Antebellum.   Lady A's Dave Haywood tells the Boot "We'd gotten the call a couple of months ago about [the appearance] when they'd laid out the schedule for the finals for 'Idol,' and we were trying to work in the studio to get something ready, and it was kind of a good, safe target for us to shoot for.
