The newest duet in country music kicks off the 45th Annual CMA Awards show tonight. Nope, it's not Brad and Carrie, or Jason and Kelly, it's Blake Shelton and Kenny Loggins! The two got along like gangbusters during rehearsals earlier this week for the song "Footloose" which they'll sing tonight.
Tell you what, if the singing thing doesn't work out for these two, they couuld hit the road as a comedy team! Blake, whose version of the song is on the soundtrack for the movie, is up for five awards including Entertainer of the Year, tonight on the CMA's, which airs at 8pm on ABC. This is Kenny's first time performing on the show, but he's been to Music City before. "I'm trying to get him to move to Nashville," Blake tells the Associated Press. "He belongs here." True dat.
