Dierks Bentley's new single "Home" is "about the place we all call home, this country that we all are lucky enough to live in," he says on NPR.   When Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 12 other people were hurt and six killed in a tragic shooting in January, it inspired Dierks and some buddies to pen the tune.  He says the song is relevant to the hard times we're going thru now, but it's also a song about "what we hopefully can accomplish by coming together."     Read more here.  The tune has been made the official song by Arizona's Centennial Commission for the state's 100-year celebration.   Dierks, who is from Arizona, will go back in February to serve as the Honorary Chairman of the Arizona Centennial Motorcycle Ride.    "Home" is off his as yet untitled new album out next year.
