They say music calms the savage beast, and also helps find a missing child. Alan Jackson and rocker Ozzy Osbourne teamed up this week to find 8 year old Joshua Robb from California. NBC reports the child, who is autistic, snuck away from his school in Twin Peaks Monday. When employees tried to get Joshua, he ran into the forest, wearing only shorts, sandals and his T-shirt. With temps expected to dip into the 60's that night, Josh's father Ron recommended using two of his son’s favorite songs, Jackson’s ‘Good Time’ and Osbourne’s ‘No More Tears’ to lure him out of hiding. “I heard them blaring ‘No More Tears’ and it was a very short time after that, we heard the rescuers had found him,” Ron says.
Rescuers had to lower a basket into a steep ravine to bring the child to safety said Lt. Rick Els of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, but Josh was grateful. “He said, ‘Thank you. You saved me.’” Alan hasn't commented on the story, but Ozzy's wife Sharon, was asked what her husband would think of his music helping the search party. “He’ll probably start crying because of the picture of that little boy with his school jacket.” Read the entire story here.
