Eric Church likes to party and usually doesn't need a reason, but he had a few good reasons to celebrate this week!   The Tennessean reports he and his band were at Marathon Village in Nashville toasting the success of Eric's platinum (one million copies sold)  selling album Chief and his second number one hit, "Springsteen," which also earned platinum status.  "This has been an unreal year," Eric told the crowd.   "I can tell you that I have the best team around me. The best band and crew, best support staff.   I'd like to think that's the case because of the music." 

Eric and his co-writers were honored with plaques from record label EMI, which is awesome enough, but E was also given some extra goodies:  sunglasses, specially made cigars, and a Jack Daniel's keg, containing a platinum label bottle of the distillery's finest.    "I can never express what you guys mean to me," Eric said to his pals.   "But I love you all, you guys.
