featured killer performances by Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and the Band Perry performing the Johnny Cash-June Carter classic "Jackson," and three time nominee Hunter Hayes singing segments of songs by the pop vocal album nominees he musically announced. Hunter got three nods for Best New Artist, country solo performance for "Wanted" and country album for his self-titled major label debut. Taylor got three nominations: "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" for record of the year and two noms with the Civil Wars. Eric Church's "Springsteen" and Ronnie Dunn's "Cost of Livin'" received two nominations each in the country solo performance and country song categories.
