If you believe a report by gossip columnist Perez Hilton, Shania Twain is upset by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill playing in Las Vegas at the same time she is.   Shania triumphantly returned to the stage this month after an eight year absence to begin a residency at Caesars Palace.   Just six days later, Tim and Faith took to the Venetian.    Perez quoted an insider who said,

“Shania’s beside herself. This was supposed to be her big comeback after eight years away from the music scene. But now Shania feels like Faith and Tim have eclipsed her moment in the spotlight – and she’s seething! It’s taken Shania everything to get to this point, and now, along come Faith and Tim to spoil her party. She knew they were coming, but she didn’t think they’d try to steal the spotlight like they have. But don’t count Shania out. She’s got a big, glittery show and the determination to become Las Vegas’ No. 1 ticket.”

Guess what tho?   Not a peep out of any of the country superstars.   Both shows have received stellar reviews.   Billboard says Shania's "Still the One" set includes multiple live horses, a flying motorcycle that’s shaped like a horse and scented air that changes as the themes of the performance change.  At one point, the singer brings fans onstage to sing campfire style. Those left in the audience enjoy the aroma of a campfire infused into the atmosphere.   Right now, all are enjoying a holiday break.  Tim and Faith's Soul2Soul returns to the Venetian Jan. 18 and Shania's  Still the One is back at Caesar's March 19.
