Is Katy Perry the latest pop star to try her hand at country? Relax people! Popcrush reports Katy wrote a song called "Bullet" several years ago for country singer Jessie James, and the demo with Katy singing was uncovered this week. This is definitely a country tune, just listen to the banjo, but it's still Katy Perry. "My momma warned me ’bout boys like you / It’s the reason I wear these steel-toed boots,” she sings. Although it's pretty doubtful KP will hit the country song charts, the song is actually pretty catchy! “I’m a bullet and I’m headed straight for your heart / Be careful what you start,” she sings. “I’m a bullet and I’m headed straight for your heart / It’s gonna leave a mark.” Since Katy's husband Russell Brand filed for divorce from her this week, maybe it's not a coincidence the song was "found" after all this time?
