The pranksters at Global Associated News strike again---this time claiming Garth Brooks has died.    The totally made up story claims Garth died in a tragic jet ski accident in the Turks and Caicos Islands yesterday.  But again, it's all made up!   Here's what the website said:   

Preliminary reports from Turks and Caicos Police officials indicate that the musician struck a concrete boat slip in a marina on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Garth Brooks was the only passenger on the personal watercraft at the time of the incident. Specific details are not yet available.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. (UTC/GMT -4 hours).

But just like the bogus story about Reba McEntire's death earlier this year in Austria, all you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of the page to see it's bogus.
