Here's a feel good story for you!   Patrick Connelly was very excited to see his favorite singer Blake Shelton perform a free outdoor show in Overland Park, Kansas.  Patrick, who is disabled, is confined to a wheelchair and was quickly disappointed to find the show was standing room only.   Needless to say, he couldn't see the stage.   “Patrick started crying because he couldn’t see Blake Shelton, he couldn’t see anything but the legs of the people in front of him,”  his mom Cheryl Connelly told KMBC.   When Cheryl and Patrick's sister tried to lift him up, he became too heavy.    Then two strangers came to the rescue, lifting Patrick up and holding him there for nearly a half hour.  

Blake noticed, and invited Patrick backstage.   The family never did find out who the two Good Samaritans were.  “I can’t thank them enough for what that meant for my family, and especially for Patrick, for what it meant for him to be able to see that,” Connelly explained. “It brought tears to my daughter and myself.”   See more here.     So, the next time you experience a random act of kindness, say a "thank you" and think of Patrick.
