Tracy Byrd and wife Michele are recovering after being involved in a car crash in Texas Tuesday afternoon. 12 News Now reported the couple were driving in their Ford Excursion when a woman in a Toyota turned in front of them, causing the accident.
Tracy, his wife and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Michele did undergo two surgeries to her left foot as a result of the accident, but thanked folks on Facebook later on for their support, saying she was "blessed." 64-year-old Jolliette Capo received a citation for failure to yield the right of way. The "Watermelon Crawl" singer, his wife and Capo have since been released from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
