At long last, country music is hitting the big time, maybe again! As Blake Shelton has proven as a mentor on The Voice, America loves country. And now, Deadline reports Brad Paisley is being considered to fill one of the vacant judges chairs on American Idol! Why not? Idol Season One winner Kelly Clarkson just told Us Weekly she thinks Season Four winner Carrie Underwood would make a great judge, and with Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina, Kellie Pickler and Bucky Covington showing that Idol can produce country superstars, it would be a logical step.
