If David Nail has a "boo boo" finger at his show this Thursday night at Fraze Pavilion in Kettering opening for Martina McBride, just know he took one for the team---literally!   MSN says the "Let It Rain" singer broke his finger at the CMA Music Festival during the celebrity softball game Saturday.    Did we mention David was-this-close to playing college baseball?   He made some spectacular catches Saturday morning, but on one of them he ended up with both a minor fracture AND a detached tendon, yet he got the job done against Carrie Underwood's team!   “You put me in the game, and I only know one speed: hard,” he said about the City of Hope game.  “I only play all-out, and that’s what I was doing. I can’t believe I broke something doing it, but at least I got my out."

David tweeted his thanks to Vanderbilt University Medical Center shortly after he was treated.  He is scheduled to see a "really good orthopedic surgeon" this week and a hand specialist tomorrow.   "I’ll be okay long term,” Nail added. “Right now, I just know I played hard, got to see a lot of the people from around the country who’ve been there with us over the past few years, and, hopefully, made a few new believers along the way.”   Read all about it here.
