Here we go again!  You would think people would know better than to mess with Miranda Lambert by now, huh?   Eric Church is the latest to fall under Miranda's Twitter ire after a recent Rolling Stone interview, in which Eric called out reality show singing competitions.  “It’s become ‘American Idol’ gone mad. Honestly, if Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green f—ing turn around in a red chair, you get a deal? That’s crazy. I don’t know what would make an artist do that. You’re not an artist.”   There's more.  He said there is no way you would find him judging one of those shows.  “If I was concerned about my legacy, there’s no f—ing way I would ever sit there [and be a reality-show judge],” Eric said.  “Once your career becomes something other than the music, then that’s what it is. I’ll never make that mistake. I don’t care if I f—ing starve.”   Read more here.   After reading the article, both  Blake and Miranda took to Twitter yesterday.  Blake saying, “I wish I misunderstood this.”  Then Miranda let it fly.  “Thanks Eric Church for saying I’m not a real artist. Or @kelly_clarkson, @carrieunderwood & @KeithUrban. Your welcome for the tour in 2010.”   Eric responsed by releasing a statement last night to the Boot to clarify his comments in the Rolling Stone interview, saying he didn’t mean for them “to undermine their talent and achievements.”   He went on to say that the comments are “part of a larger commentary on these types of reality shows and the perception they create, not the artists involved with the shows themselves.”    As for his feelings on  “The Voice” and “American Idol,”  Eric says he feels like they give artists an easy way around putting in the hard work and dedication it takes to make a successful music career.     “Every artist has to follow up television appearances with dedication towards their craft, but these shows tend to gloss over that part and make it seem like you can be ordained into stardom,” says Eric. “I have a problem with those perceived shortcuts, not just in the music industry.”    He also answered Miranda's tweet,  “I have a lot of respect for what artists like Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, and my friend Miranda Lambert have gone on to accomplish.  This piece was never intended to tear down any individual and I apologize to anybody I offended in trying to shed light on this issue. “    Read more here.

Speaking of "the Voice," Blake premiered his new single, "Over" last night.  What do you think?
