Now we may know why Jake Owenpartied a little too hearty Saturday on Cinco de Mayo!  He and fiance Lacey Buchanan got married early this morning in a sunrise ceremony in Jake's hometown of Vero Beach. The bride, 22, wore an Amsale gown and veil and the groom was casual in a white linen Armani shirt and Tommy Bahama drawstring pants – though both were barefoot on the beach as the sun rose over the ocean.    "That was my idea, because it's symbolic of the dawn of a new day and starting our new life together," Jake told People.  

Jake just popped the question to Lacey a few weeks ago during a spur of the moment on stage at his high school after he sang "Don't Think I Can't Love You."

The pair met when Lacey appeared in Jake's music video for "8 Second Ride" and began dating after she starred in the video for his hit "Barefoot Blue Jean Night."     The ceremony was small, but very meaningful.   "I'm looking forward to being a husband, someone his wife relies and leans on," said Owen, goes on tour with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw on the Brothers of the Sun Tour June 2nd.    But the honeymoon comes first.   Read all about it here!   Congratulations Jake and Lacey!
