The "Coal Miner's Daughter" is coming to Broadway!   Loretta Lynn announced her life story will be played out on the Great White Way by "New Girl" actress Zooey Deschanel.   People Magazine says Zooey joined Loretta onstage at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium for the big news, where they performed the Country Queen's signature song together. 

"It's a long way from Butcher Holler to Broadway in New York City," says Lynn in a statement. "I never imagined I'd see 'Coal Miner's Daughter' on a movie screen, and now I can't believe it's going to be on a stage for people to see."  

Zooey took to Twitter in her excitement.  "Loretta Lynn asked me to do "coal miner's daughter" on broadway! I said YES!"     She also included the Instagram photo above of her with Loretta, who says "I'm going to be right there in the front row," says Lynn. "And I know Zooey is going to be great -- she sings and writes her own songs just like I do, and we even have the same color eyes!"    Read more here.
