"Brantley Gilbert" coming to a baby near you By Nancy Wilson
Brantley Gilbert has not only topped the country music charts, but is steadily heading up the lists of popular baby names! The Social Security Administration has released its report of the top baby names of 2011. "Brantley" made the biggest jump in boy names, from 736 to 320. Officials believe it's because of BG and "Country Must Be Country Wide." The top five names were Jacob, Mason, William, Jayden and Noah. For girls, it's Sophia, Isabella, Emma, Olivia and Ava. The federal agency says "Mason" had been a popular name for a while, it never reached the 25 names until 2010, when it hit #12, suggesting the rise may be due to reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian' s son, Mason.
