Sugarland performs with cancer survivor

By Nancy Wilson

You know how much kids mean to us, right?   It warms our hearts to see our friends from Sugarland make a little girl's dream come true on stage.   Last month, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush introduced their fans at the Mystic Lake Casino in Minnesota to 4 year old cancer patient Avery. Avery's mom told everyone the little girl was diagnosed with cancer at 22 months and doctors said she had just three to six months to live. Guess what?  After treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Avery is 85 % cancer free!!!!     As pregnant Jen sang the lyrics to "Baby Girl", Avery danced around on stage in pink cowboy boots and a flowery dress as her proud Mom looked on.  Read all about it on Sugarland's website.  Miracles happen every day, don't they?
