Lots of "buzz" in country music today, including Kellie Pickler's shaving on her head in support of her bff with breast cancer! Way to go girl!
But lots of folks curious about another Kelly, as in Clarkson, and her nomination for CMA "Female Vocalist of the Year." Kelly's "Don't You Wanna Stay" duet partner Jason Aldean calls her a phenomenal singer and her nod "very much well deserved." He goes on to say, the CMAs are "rewarding her for her contributions to country music." Wonder what he thinks about rapper Snoop Dogg, I mean Snoop Lion's nomination for "Musical Event of the Year" along with Willie Nelson for "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die." Also up for the same award are Kris Kristofferson, and Jamey Johnson. Should be a very interesting 46th annual CMA Awards show, even if some folks may not remember it! Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are the hosts again this year. The show airs Nov. 1 on ABC.
