With Jason Aldean's tribute to Joe Diffie, "1994" riding up the charts, it stands to reason the Diffster himself would get back on the road and he's teaming up with two other legends, Sammy Kershaw and Aaron Tippin. On the Roots and Boots Tour, the trio will perform acoustic versions of their hits and share stories about what got them to where they are. "The 'Roots & Boots' tour is three friends who love country music having a good time, telling jokes about each other and telling jokes on each other," says Sammy on his website. "We tell stories behind all of our songs. It's a great show, so don't be square, be there."
Joe says, "Sam, Aaron and I have a great time doing these shows, and the fans do too. It's always an adventure."
"Being onstage with Sammy and Joe is a blast," said Aaron. "I admire both of these guys so much. We have a great time together, and the show is different every night and always a lot of fun."
It looks like the closest they'll be to us is the Rising Star Casino next month. Here's all the tour dates.
